How Bryce Proposed

Here's the story of how Bryce proposed!

      His mom suggested that we go into town and that Bryce show me around. We go to a park that is by the water so we walk along the boardwalk. It was a little cold so we walk a little ways then turn around. Off the path was a little trail that goes into the trees and Bryce says lets walk in there. So we do and then I see this big rock and decide I need to climb on the rock and act like a dork, and then asked him to help me off. I think I ruined the moment so we just kept walking. Then we come to a bench and he said lets sit down. So we do for a minute and then he pulls his phone out and pretends that someone texts him. He actually texted me and said "Do you know how much I love you?" (okay and the only reason why he texted me is so that I would be distracted and look away while he pulled the ring out of his pocket) and as I get a text I'm like "did you text me?" and as I looked over he had the ring in the box and then said "Will you marry me" and of course I said YES! Then I cried a little bit because I was so happy and then we kissed and hugged and then we went out to lunch. It was PERFECT! The ring is soooo pretty and was made special just for me! I couldn't be happier :D

Bryce is such a great guy and I love him!

OH and when he had to ask my dad, since he is in Japan he had the easy way out and just had to EMAIL him. He was still a little nervous. My dad didn't reply until later the next day or the day after that, so even though he didn't have to ask him in person he still had to sweat a little. I told him maybe my dad doesn't want us to get married because it took so long for him to reply!

Don't worry, we passed.

Well our white glove cleaning check was just as normal as our other ones. He (our RA) walks in checks the oven, freezer and microwave, walks down the hall (doesn't even check in our rooms) and checks the shower and the toilet, walks back and says "You all passed" and then leaves. Me and Jenny talked to our RA's last night and they said "this is going to be a serious one, so make sure everything on the list to clean is clean". So we did and they didn't even notice our hard work. Oh well. We passed and that's all that matters.

So me and Bryce have been engaged 1 week and 1 day. How exciting. I haven't seen him since Sunday morning at like 4:30am. He is currently hunting right now and I am working and dying at the same time. He will be here Monday and that just seems so far away! I have to work all day tomorrow and then Sunday and when he gets here I'll probably be at work, AGAIN! gahhh.

Wedding plans are...well...coming together in my head! I know what I want my cake to look like,  I know what I want the bridesmaids to wear and my mom is finding the fabric and all of the colors. I know who I want to take my engagement pictures and where I'm going to go to make the engagement invitations. I also know my bouquet! So ya, now that they are together in my head I just need to call people and start getting it organized. Oh and I need ideas for FOOD at the receptions. Any ideas? Thanks. :)

Anyways that is all I have for now, except I went to work at my other job (which is at a satellite company) and got paid $10 an hour to help organize shirts, go and get a pizza for me and Lance, answer the phones a few times and play solitare and come up with more wedding ideas. What a GREAT JOB!!!!

Takin a break...

I've been working all day...which means from 10:30 to 7:30, that is all day for me and now I'm cleaning for our semester change "white glove" cleaning check. They are trying to scare us and say that they are really going to use a white glove and go dust over everything. So me and Jenny are kind of freaking out making sure everything is spotless clean. We are probably over cleaning but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. If we don't reach their standard of cleaning they will charge us to send in cleaners. Ha Ha. After cleaning I feel like I need some coldstone ice cream...shhh don't tell my mom!!

Can't get any cleaner than this!

First Blog ever and We're engaged!

I said I would start a blog when I got engaged, so a week later that's what I'm doing. It's for people who want to see what me and Bryce and up too and see our progress in planning a wedding! So, here I go. So far, we've gotten engaged! Our date is set and we are getting married in the Spokane Washington Temple on August 28, 2010.
