Happy Birthday, to me! I can't believe that I am 22 years old! These last couple of years have gone by SO fast. I am getting older (and wiser) and I am grateful for the things and the people that I have in my life! I'm also grateful for my parents to taught me what was right and I'm glad that I have listened to the "Kindred Family Rule #5" which is Don't Be an Idiot. I am very happy with who I am and where I am going. I hope these next couple of years of my life turn out to be as great as the last few!
I am getting a new CAMERA for my birthday, I just have to wait until January to get it. Today Bryce and I hung out and went shopping and then went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse. Granny sent us a gift card for it for $25 bucks, so we only had to spend $15. We had yummy food and now we are relaxing and we are going to watch Harry Potter! It was a great day!

More couch pillows
My iPhone camera pictures don't do my pillows justice. I cleaned up from our Christmas mess and took some cuter pictures of my couch pillows. I just want to put them on my blog so I can always remember them :)
Up close and personal |
a very cute sign that my mom made me for Christmas. I am going to hang it up above my little couch below the window |
I never in my life thought that I would enjoy sewing or decorating a house. I'm becoming more and more like my mother. Which is a good thing!

Couch Pillows
Before Bryce and I got married we had an apartment already and were in the process of looking for furniture. I found a great and white striped couch that was so cute and I loved it. It was $25 at a yard sale. After buying it and bringing it inside it was a little dirtier then I realized. But I guess I did only pay $25 bucks for it. After months and months of looking for couch covers I finally bought some. It was the best decision I made for that couch. I didn't feel gross sitting on it and it just looked nice.
The pillows on the couch are not the cleanest but I couldn't clean the pillows. (They are huge and they didn't have a zipper on it). So, I made new pillow cases! They are soooo dang cute. My friend Stephanie's sister in law, Lacee helped me. They turned out great. They are still a little lumpy but I am working on that. I was also able to put zippers on them so I can wash them too. I am excited. The day after I made them I had to work all day and all I wanted to do was look at them. Well, that's enough about my couch. Let me show you some pictures:

I love the way it turned out! |
It's also Christmas Eve and Bryce was supposed to work all day but he was throwing up last night and is now conked out on the couch. I was watching Christmas with the Kranks earlier, but I was all alone. I'm trying to wake him up but it's no use. I think I will go bake some Rolo Cookies to eat...by myself.
Merry Christmas!
Love, Jordyn
