up in technology

When smart phones started to come out and be popular I told myself I never really wanted one. Probably because I thought I wouldn't know how to work it. I did get an ipod touch a little over a year ago and I thought that was pretty cool. I liked that you could go on the internet if you had wifi or you could download apps and play on those. It's sweet.

One day Bryce and I decided to go look at smart phones and decided we needed one. So low and behold I have a new phone. And let me tell you, it's pretty sweet. I thought getting on the internet with wifi was cool, but this phone can get on the internet without it! It's pretty sweet to just pull it out and can look anything up, whenever I want.

I decided that I wanted to get this beauty:
the iphone 4.

It's awesome.

Bryce decided that he wanted to get this one:

the Droid X

His phone is pretty sweet. Or so I've heard. He won't let me play with it. :P

Now my mom thinks she needs a Droid too.

No need to worry

I have been terrible at blogging lately. There is just nothing NEW our lives right now. I've attempted to start a few posts and then get bored and erase them. I do want to let everyone know that I am alive out here. A few things coming up are:
  • Bryce's birthday is on Friday the 25th! We are going out to dinner to Tepanyaki!
  • Grandma K and "Hey Hey" are coming on Friday, who will be joining us for Bryce's birthday dinner!
  • My mom comes on March 10th! I am so excited
  • Jenny gets married on the 12th, so that will be a fun filled weekend with my mom and with Jenny's wedding stuff, plus a few days off work will be nice!

Anyways, we're doing good! We got our $3,800 dollar tax return, so we are feeling blessed with that. I also got a new calling in January. I am the Young Women's Secretary. It's so fun! I love the girls and I am excited to get to know them a little better.

Well, that's all.
Hopefully I'll write soon!

Love!

Save your money mama!

My mom and I are on a diet CHALLENGE!! She is coming out in March and if I lose the most weight she is going to buy me some new church clothes and if she loses the most weight I have to buy her something from the quilted bear.

Well, I am going to win! I am doing the "Special K Challenge"/counting my calories. I'm doing good so far, we started Monday. Now the only thing I'm struggling with is getting to the gym! Anyways, I hope this works because I'm getting chubby!

**Posts later on about how much weight I've lost! :)

meet Ellie!

On Christmas I was looking on craigslist and KSL looking at kittens because I think they're cute. After finding some cute ones and bribing Bryce a little I got a little kitten! Her name is Ellie. She's 4 months old and sooooo cute! She is finally getting use to the house and she comes out and plays with her toys. She is potty trained so luckily I didn't have to deal with that. She also likes to cuddle. At night she will lay on me for hours! It's cute. She is still scared of Bryce but she is getting use to him. She is also attached to me. I love my little Ellie. Check out how cute she is!

Her eyes are closed in all the pictures because the flash was blinding her!

21st Birthday!

I turned the big 2-1 on the 29th! Bryce and I went to a movie, ("How do you know"--which is SUPER DUMB, don't go see it!) walked around the mall and went to TEXAS ROADHOUSE for dinner!! The weather was super snowy, wet and cold and the roads were HORRIBLE! They were covered in ice and you seriously could have ice skated on them. It was pretty scary! All in all, I had a great day! Here are some pictures!

My dad also gave me $100 bucks, and Granny gave me $10.

Christmas 2010

Bryce and I celebrated our first Christmas together! It was fun, we opened presents and went to Jenny's parents house for Christmas casserole breakfast, came home and watched movies and relaxed! It was a great day! Here are a few pictures!

Oh, the weather outside is...

WEATHER!

Yepp, we had one snow day here out in Utah. I feel bitter sweet about because it just doesn't feel like Christmas yet because there is no snow! Although I am grateful it was a warm day outside today.

I leave on Tuesday to go home for a week and I get to go to two of my best friends wedding! Dani Jarman and Phillip Enkey will be married in the Washington DC temple on Friday the 17th. I am so excited that I get to go and be there for them. I also get to go down to North Carolina for the reception. I will get to see people that I haven't seen since 2006! I am so excited! Unfortunately Bryce won't be able to go because he has to stay home and work :(

I'm very excited to see my family too and spend time with them.

Anyways, I hope everyone is having a good holiday season and a Merry Christmas!
